Trails In Motion Film Fest and 2026 UTofMB Awards Night
We're hosting the Trails In Motion 14 Film Tour with 8 great films from around the world. Join us for a night that celebrates trail running here at home and around the world.
We’re also excited to screen a documentary by local film maker Charles Ventura about Amanda Prosser. Amanda is a runner with many ties to the Manitoba running community. The film follows Amanda’s first ultra marathon.
We'll be celebrating a great season of trail work and races, by crowning the winners in our 2025 Ultimate Trails of Manitoba series and giving away great prizes. MATR members have been earning points for every local trail race they complete or volunteer at. Members also earn points by participating in trail work days with us.

How much: $25 in advance ($28 cash-only at the door)
All Women’s Run
In conjunction with the Awards Night we’ll host our annual All Women’s Run at Birds Hill Park on the morning after the awards night.
Manitoba has an incredible community of women trail runners, and to recognize this, we’re excited to host an ALL-WOMEN’s Single Track Sunday. This run is open to all runners who identify as women.
When: 9:00 am at the trailhead, we’ll aim to be running by 9:15 am
Where: *Birds Hill Park, Nimowin Trail Head.
